1-1 Wildlife Workshop

DEER WORKSHOP

If you’ve always wanted to get that perfect shot of a deer in the wild then this Deer Workshop is the course for you.

They can be tricky little beasties and very elusive but with some good camera technique and field craft understanding they can be a total joy to photograph.

The deer workshop takes place within the grounds of Petworth Park. Home to the largest herd of Fallow deer in England.

We start the day with coffee and cake – talking through camera set up, expectations and in particular what you would like from the opportunity. You will learn how to capture wildlife portrait and action shots. You will have the opportunity to practice with your zoom lenses and additional kit.

Feedback will be given through the day. You need at least a 200mm zoom lens, or a 10x bridge or compact camera. Please don’t forget to bring wet weather clothing if it looks like rain. Some of my best images have been in the rain – so please don’t let this put you off. You do need to make sure your camera is weather proof though!

Please wear sensible shoes or walking boots as we will be spending much time walking around or standing still – so something comfortable is important.
